We still want to be close to restaurants and nightlife. We are aged between 25-30yrs old so need a good variety of things to do & see as well as swimming, snorkelling and surfing.

For beautiful beaches and great nightlife you have to go to Byron Bay – quite a way north from Sydney but worth visiting at least once. Closer to Sydney Newcastle has great beaches, Terrigal on the Central Coast has beautiful beaches and would have some nightlife but not as much choice as the main cities.

If you are not from Sydney why dont you stay in Bondi or Coogee spectacular swimming and plenty of pubs and restaurants.

I am remodeling my bedroom into a beach themed paradise. Any easy, simple, and cheap ideas to add to the ambiance would help a lot.

Paint light blues and greens grounded with sandy beige
Light fabric for drapes and canapy either over a bed or a daybed
if you don’t have a canopy bed hang long curtins from the ceilings to create the look.
Stay with light colored furniture if you can if not and your furniture is dark wood that you can’t paint introduce bamboo shades in the windows, a fake tree in a corner with a wooden beach chair and cushions and an up light. Use wicker if possiable it comes light or dark.
A sisal rug would be perfect it looks like the color of sand.
Picture frames with shells glued on them. Any thing you can glue to you can put shells on….chandalier,candlesticks,accent pieces.
Think light,airy and wind blowing gentle and the light colors. Then introduce the greenry not too much though. I hope this helps, it sounds like you are trying to create a relaxing space for yourself !

Gorgeous cottage on the beach front in southerness just over the scotland/england border. Great for families, pets welcome and close to loads of activites in and around Dumfries. Rates are reasonable and competative!

Southerness is a nice part of the country and well situated for many activities, with a regular bus service to both Dumfries and Dalbeattie.

Would they both be a good exfoliater? In brazil on the beaches woman rub sand on them to combat cellulite….Could it work with Lake sand too?

The sand at beach is mixed with salt cotents. It is not usefull for building costruction. The lake sand can be used for many purpose including filling for the basement. buildings.

I am looking for a condo to rent at the beach for a partial week. Arriving July 2nd and leaving July 6.

Always keep and eye on the storms. So far this year we have not had much in the way of storms. The answer to your question is yes it is safe to travel to the Caribbean and Mexico. One you will see and do more than you would by yourself. Cruising to these destinations are also very safe and a lot more cost effective.

My daughter is 14 and going into high school, so we want a cute room without being too juvenille. She has a silver antique bed frame with a new plaid green/pink and a touch of blue comforter. We bought a new white desk/hutch and dresser with glass pulls that have a touch of pink/silver. She wants it to have a beach feel without being gaudy or cluttery (trust me it will get there on its own). She has a metal pink/blue green sign from pottery barn "2 miles to the beach"sign for above the bed. Does anyone have paint suggestions for the walls? She has a great blueish color that could stay, but we have to paint over dancers regardless. We’ve thought light green or pink. What color bed-skirt/window seat cushion? Any other fun ideas? Thanks!
