Est-ce qu’on va à une plage pour nudistes?

There is a great distance between Istanbul and mediterranean Turkey (more than 1000 km, I think) traveling over land would be back-breaking. The best way is to fly. Tickets are priced from YTL 70 – 100 (USD 40 – 60) one way.

My boyfriend and I are planning a trip in feb and would like a place that has a nice beach, amazing nightlife (clubs, etc), good food and fun things to do during the day (excursions etc.) We were considering aruba and curacao but dont know much about them. Has anyone ever been or can anyone suggest a better place for a couple (28 yrs old) to go and have fun? thanks in advance

Costa Rica has great food, often live music, and some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Flights are pretty reasonable and you can treat yourself to a stay in an all inclusive resort.

I’m going to Cuba in November so it’s going to be pretty hot. I want a cream that’s quite versatile for the water but really protective. I want to get a bit of tan so people know I’ve been away! The most important thing though is that my skin is safe. Can you recommend and good creams or advice?

I can’t tell you anything about sunscreen, but if you are going to Cuba, you better buy it before you leave because you won’t be able to get it there. In fact, you better bring everything that you need, because you can buy just about NOTHING there. I mean you can buy sodas, beer & rum but don’t count on being able to buy things that you take for granted at home.
On that note, it is advisable to bring a bunch of those small everyday items to give to the locals, because they get by with very little due to the US trade embargo. For example, tooth paste, soap, toothbrushes, dental floss, chewing gum, etc.
especially little individually wrapped chocolate candies for the kids. That stuff is unavailable and it is worth the trip just to see the kid’s face when you give him/her a candy.
P.S. Better bring your own toilet paper because if you are away from your hotel and have to use the toilets, you will be cleaning up with the pages of yesterday’s newspaper.
Just realize that things are DIFFERENT there than other destinations and you will have a great time. The local people are very friendly and curious about life outside of Cuba. Everyone is well educated and lots of folks speak English.

My walls are currently light blue and I was wondering how to do my room beach theme with a little bit of audrey hepburn theme to it. I was thinking maybe painting my bed and dresser white? Any other suggestions, where would you find audrey hepburn pictures?

Ms. Hepburn lived and died in my town, Old Saybrook, CT. She had a view of the inner and outer lighthouses the mouth of the river and the breakwater. Pictures of that stuff would look great and add to your theme.

We have stayed at the Seaview Cottages a lot, this is our second post on this site. It’s good and clean, pool is clean and the food and drink cheap, the Nepalese chef cooks excellent food. The room boys keep your room clean, should you find that they are not, ask to see the owners. They will make sure that you get your room boy working as he should, yes if you are on a package you do pay extra for a fridge, check with your tour operator as to what you get. I spoke to other tourists who had arrived there from another hotel (sadly I dont know the name) who had moved to Seaveiw as where their tour operator had sent them was filthy. Give it a whirl. As I say, we have stayed here lots of times and always been happy.

Anyone know of a good mens cologne that smells like the beach/Ocean? Thanks

Some fragrances are said to remind them of the beach/ocean, but I found that those fragrances never actually smell like the beach/ocean. They are called Aromatic Aquatic fragrances, and the best selling (and according to many women, best smelling) example would be Cool Water by Davidoff.

One that apparently smells more like the ocean is actually called Oceans by Nautica. It’s a new fragrance that just came out this year.

It uses sea water, lemon, lavender, geranium, salt, teakwood, and ambergris (which is chunks of whale vomit and/or poop, that float out in the ocean for years and absorb the scent of the sea). Don’t let that bother you. It’s got nothing but good reviews.

Does anyone know of a good place to go within 5 hours of cincinnati? I’m looking for a cabin or cottage with a hot tub and within walking distance of a beach.

Having been to nude beaches in France and elsewhere in Europe the simple answer is just to be yourself!

You’ll find everything from totally natural to fully shaven and everything in between, although most women to appear to either trim what’s naturally visible and shave underneath or fully shave more than anything, even teenagers
