i’m looking into both places for a vacation. i’d like to go to vegas but everything is so expensive. i’d also like to go to sandals in the carribean where everything is included food, and drinks. anyone have any experiences they’d like to share from your vacation at either sandals or vegas? thanks

Stuarts Point is a lovely relaxed place for a holiday. It is located on the riverfront and the beach is just across the river’s footbridge and along a mostly level track – takes about 8 minutes at the most.
My family and I stayed at Stuarts Point Holiday Park in one of the cabins (there is camping as well) and enjoyed fishing in both the river and on the beach. There are tennis courts next door, a children’s playground along the riverfront and some people choose to moor their boats along the sandy bank. I hear they have some entertainment during the Christmas holidays as well but we weren’t there during the holidays.
Exploring the bush walking track that followed the river through native bushland from Stuarts Point to Grassy Head makes for a nice way to spend a couple of hours. The village shops are all within walking distance too.
Yarrahappini National park is about 10 minutes away and is worth visiting. The further into it you go, the more tropical it becomes with palms, ferns and stag horns. A 4WD is the best bet as there are shallow creeks that cross the road after rain – very pretty.
i am getting my room totaly redone. Im getting new ferniture and everything.But i need some help… i dont know how to decorate it! i already have the bedding. It is purple blue and pink. And i know im getting a really pretty mural of a sunset on the beach but i just need help with decoration and everything. OH and i got shells from the beach!
Baskets of beach pebbles and seashells are great decorations, as well as dried starfish and sand dollars. Find some soft watercolors of beach-scapes or old oars to lean in a corner of the room. White wood mirrors with a little distress on the frame open a room up. Don’t go overboard with the theme (no pun intended) by covering everything in beachy stuff but keep the trim colors light and airy and cordinated and you should be fine. Throw pillows with beach embroidery are nice but stick with one or two of those and the rest in a variety of colors that match the theme instead of the theme itself. Good luck!

I saw a TV commercial of some vacation spot in Florida and it looks just like Ocean Beach. Does anyone know exactly where this is? I want to Google Earth the location.
It was directly based on Ocean Drive in South Beach. The game is geographically similar to Miami; located in the Florida Keys

The beach house rentals seem reasonable and although not exactly fancy, very adequate and very near the beach. Does anyone know if the rental houses in this area are worth the money (about $100 a day in the spring, which is when we would be there).
This place is 2 bedrooms, 3 beds, and a pull out couch…can sleep 6, has washer and dryer and all amenties you expect at home. It’s average quality, nothing fancy.
off season for a typical (fairly new & up-to-date, well furnished) you expect to pay $1500 – $2500 a month………………..during season $3000 and up so you’re in the ballpark.
colder than stink there now……but isn’t crowded! (it’s wall-to-wall people in good weather)

Mexicans are mooching off of Americans becuase they are too lazy to take care of business at home. It is easier to jump the boarder to let me support them to work hard to improve their own country. What if we were to send 1 guard unit to mexico and take all their beach resort for the US as payment for all th BS we put up with over their fence jumpers. All the poor working stiffs who cant get a raise because there are a million mexicans who will do his job for less can get vouchers for free vacations…are you with me? every fence an Arizona farmer has to mend because an Illegal cut it to get in will earn them 1 day at an all inclusive.
