What is the name of the song with no words that’s always in beach movies or tropical vacations in movies?

February 132010

there’s this song that they play in pretty much every movie when they’re going to the beach or somewhere tropical as they’re stepping off the plane or walking to their room or exploring the resort or beach or whatever. it was in a movie about boxing with antonio banderas in it. i want to buy it on iTunes. but i don’t know what it’s called.

it has no words.

I can hear in my head the sort of tune you’re getting at.

I’m not sure it’s always the same tune, but the general distinctive sound you have in mind is that of the Hawaiian steel guitar.

Well if it doesn’t have words then it isn’t a song.
