Will have my 2 children (14 & 7) and we want to go to Disney Land & San Diego Zoo while we’re there, but also see Hollywood, Malibu, and my son wants to learn to surf. I have found cute beach cottages in both of those places. Laguna Beach looks adorable online. Santa Monica & Venice beach look more fun. Please advise…. Thanks!

well santa monica would be more to do and more fun but i might be a litel more expensive now laguna becach is cool and there stuth to do near but its also closer to dsineyland and san diego zoo is about 3 mins to a houre to disney land and about 2 or 3 hours to sd and 3 or more hours to malibu but there both great places u might also want to look at other place like huntionbeach or ochenside

I need a cottage for a prom after party of a reasonable price for the weekend of July 1 to 3.
I have no clue where to look for cottages. Help? Any recomendations when renting this cottage nd where is the best spot at Wasaga ON

You will have to rent for a week, that will be high season.

I want to go their with a group of people for two weeks. I would like hot nice weather, beautiful water, cheap ON the beach cottage(prefer not hotel purhaps hostel tho) a resort would be nice if it was cheap and it had extras like massages, etc. I would like it to be able to sit on the beach and relax. snorkling maybe? ANY IDEAS????

I’m getting back home at the end of July and I would like to take a vacation with my boyfriend to a beach or a lake and stay in a small house or cottage that is right there on the beach. I’d also like to have an amusement park somewhere close by. Does anyone know of a good place to go?

Well, assuming it’s Califonia, I’ll say Carmel, Monterey, Half Moon Bay, or Capitola/Santa Cruz. Lots of choices there abouts for cottages and rentals. Also, close to the famous Santa Cruz Beach/Boardwalk for amusement fun.

High tide line is the point reached by the high tide. Anywhere between that and the house is private property. Anything below (toward the ocean) is public. You don’t have a private beach.

I can change everything else, the head board the wall paint and decor but the furniture I cant change, the furniture is….. a make up table, a high boy cabinet with drawers, a wide dresser, another taller skinnier dresser, a desk that folds down to a desk and two end tables next to the bed. Any suggestions?

Now pick an interior bedroom scene with dark wood furniture. Write in the color Rainwashed and copy it onto the walls. The trim should be bright white as should the ceiling. Those are the perfect beach cottage colors. I’ve done several beach or cottage themed rooms with these colors and clients are in love with the room when they see it.

One or two nicely framed pictures, a smart trick is to go to art.com and get posters and then buy inexpensive white or dark wood frames from a local craft store. Maybe a nice big shell set on a dresser or night stand. Not much more than that, you want to have the affect of uncluttered and breezy.

Does anyone know of a beach cottage with wheelchair access that we can hire for a holiday? My wife, who is now permanently in a wheelchair, cannot get out much and I would love to take her to a holiday home where she could sit a look at the sea/beach.
