Beach

I am interested in going to a five star, all inclusive, adult only and preferably not all honeymooners beach resort in the Caribbean or Mexico (the east side of Mexico). Does anyone have any suggestions or know a travel agency that can help me? I have done some research on the web, but I do not want to end up at a nudist colony or swingers place!

Look at the resorts on St. Lucia. It is arguably the most female friendly island in the Caribbean with it’s white and black sand beaches, the volcano, the rain forest and the best SPA in the Caribbean.. Not all the resorts are 5 star, but the ambiance makes up for it.

There is a lot of access to beaches throughout California but I noticed Los Angeles is the closest to any ski resorts. Geographically it is easy to see where someone would have to go to have access to beaches and ski resorts but based on traffic where is the best location to be to have the quickest access to both? Is traffic so bad that it’s not even worth it and flying to a ski resort would be easier?

Yes. The traffic is terrible everywhere in the state of California. If you want nice beaches and ski resorts both nearby, come here to Toronto. There’s plenty of beautiful beaches along Lake Ontario, and ski resorts are everywhere.

Answers Caribbean Travel IS NOT A TRAVEL AGENCY.. we do a pretty good job of answering specific questions but when someone has a whole lot of questions.. they need to go see a TRAVEL AGENT.

Since you OBVIOUSLY don’t have a CLUE about what you are asking, then the best suggestion I can give you is go see the NEAREST TRAVEL AGENT.

First of all.. there is NOT ONE BEST RESORT.. the BEST resort is the one that offers the activities that YOU are interested in.. and YOU DIDN’T BOTHER TO SAY WHAT THAT IS.. so HOW the hell can you expect US to tell YOU what the best resort is when YOU DON’T EVEN KNOW WHAT YOU WANT.

Secondly.. The only people who want an ALL INCLUSIVE resort are people who have never traveled or barely traveled. All inclusive resorts are CHEAP for a reason.. they have the CHEAPEST FROZEN FOODS and the CHEAPEST ROTGUT BOOZE and the CHEAPEST ROOMS. They appeal to Amerikans because Amerikans are always wanting the CHEAPEST THING THEY CAN FIND.

There are over 36 CARIBBEAN ISLAND you can go to and almost every one of them has an ALL INCLUSIVE RESORT.. There is not enough room to give you information on all 36 islands AND every resort on those islands.

GO TO A TRAVEL AGENT.. they are trained to answer stupid questions from dumb people and do it With a smile and they have brochures with PRETTY PICTURES in them.. you like to look at PRETTY PICTURES.. right?

We are planning for a family outing this May 2011 and we are looking for a pretty good beach resort in Pangasinan or Zambales with cheap rates.

Looking to go to Myrtle Beach in a few weeks. Have stayed at Landmark and liked it but they are booked at the time I am looking to go. I am willing to stay in North Myrtle. Looking for Ocean Front were I can walk out and be right on the beach. PLEASE DO NOT JUST SEND ME A LINK TO A BUNCH OF SITES TO EXPLORE! THANKS

This is a cool one that I just came across. It is called the Myrtle beach Resort. It is on the beach within a gated community. It has 3 buildings on 33 acres of beach including a couple beach bars and restaurants. During the summer they have live bands and they even have a little convenient store on site. Its a pretty nice place if you have kids because of the pools and water parks. It is close to everything but you could stay there and not leave if you wanted and still have a blast.

Looking for a beach resort in Hawaii that has a great beach for swimming, snorkeling, nice sand. But must be a 4 or 5 star resort that’s upscale. What are the best?

Hey Steve you ask good question, here my moto, nice room, hot sun, warm water, cold drink, yeah? If you neva been to Kaanapali, you need to consider it, or Kapalua, they both on west side Maui, both got exact what you want, my personal fav is two hotel there, Sheraton at Black Rock, and Hyatt Regency, Kaanapali. Either these gonna give you great hotel, great food, Hyatt maybe little betta on food, great Italian place downstairs, great beach, although Sheraton have mobetta beach, and snorkel, all gonna haave great sand, ok? Course, you want best of best, go to Kapalua, stay at Ritz-Carlton, you gonna have best of best on west side Maui, ok?
Also not to forget Wailea side of island, you got two great hotel, side by side, Four Seasons, and Grand Wailea, both first class, 4 or 5 stars, and have great pool, but beach not quite as good as Kaanapali, but voth very exclusive, and you not go wrong. Remeber, what we say in Hawaiian, Maui no ka oi", which mean loose translate, "Maui the Best", so my opinion you can’t go wrong with any of these resorts, ok?
Of course otha island have great resort, beach, snorkel, and lotta great food, like the Hilton in Kona, the Aston Beach tower, Waikiki, it a 2 bedroom condo, heart of Waikiki, request penthouse, you cannot believe how nice, yeah, but you got crowd in Waikiki to deal with, also great place to stay Lanai, very private, Four Season at Manele Bay, super nice resort, but not much otha things to do round the hotel, less you like to tour island, drive on beach with jeep, and swim in secluded beaches, which I kinda like, ok?

Hubby and I have a chance to fly to Kuala Lumpa for a good price in August. We plan to spend a few days in KL, then go to some lovely beach resort in Malaysia. I’ve never been there, and have no idea which places are nice, but not too expensive. We just want somewhere romantic, where we can swim in the ocean, and with alot of culture, but which won’t cost the earth, as we are on a very limited budget. Can anybody give me any suggestions? These are some of the resorts worth mentioning; Langkawi Island – many budget chalets, lovely white sandy beaches, interesting culture, lots to do. Redang Island – One of the Top Ten in the world, crystal clear waters, lovely marine life, cheap budget accomadations, marine parks. Pulau Hentian – small but lovely Island just beside Redang Island. I am planning for a road trip to Daytona Beach from KY. Its going to be me & two others in my family (no kids). My wife is very concerned about safety issues & our other relative is new to the country. We have never been to Daytona Beach & thought to go there.
