We’ve been to Myrtle Beach and Virginia Beach and want to stay on the east coast. Any ideas?

Trying to plan a vacation somewhere out of the states..and wanna see my options and pick the best destination! I need to see lots of photos and it would be nice to gather a collection of guides for different places. Anyone know? thanks!

We’ve been to Sarasota in Florida and loved it.
Rented a house there, intend to do so this summer too.
Any other ideas? Must have a lot of activities to do and places to drive that are near (no more than 2-3 hours away).

Myrtle Beach S.C. is a very family orientated fun place to visit.

We’re looking for a new beach for a vacation this summer. My parents don’t like it too crowded, but I would still like there to be some people there. Thanks. (:

We want to plan a little vacation and we’re not sure where to go. We already know about all the main ones (Outerbanks, Virginia Beach, Ocean City, Myrtle Beach, and of course the main beach cities in Florida).. but are there any other really nice beach towns that aren’t perhaps as highly visited? We’re trying to watch our budget as well and if you can offer any accomodation suggestions that would be great!

I would like to suggest either Oak Island, Ocracoke Island or Holden Beach. Technically Ocracoke is part of the Outer Banks but it is really a destination unto itself. Very nice beaches! They are totally unspoiled b/c they are part of the national park system and hence, free from commercial development. Check it out:

Hey I am trying to gget some info on what places that you have been internationally that it was pretty much the status quo for guys to wear speedos. i am taking a beach vacation next year and I would really like to try my speedo out on the beach!! haha

sri lanka is a nice place to travel. Because there are lots of thing and places to watch in a small island,if you gone a start from Colombo u can travel to any direction in around two,three hours by a vehicle.

There are manyNational Parks you can visit in Sri Lanka. Yala is the largest national park.

If u want to shopping during you`r trip, You can buy cloths( like cloths for you`r winter season,also other cloths) very cheap in Colombo(House of fashion,odel,majick city,kandy…are few of good fashion houses in sri lanka.
If u want to buy leather works like bags, wallets,chairs… very cheap in pinnawala.
If u want to buy jems Rathnapura is the best place to buy them.

Haha me and you are on the same wave length with the beach clothing…well get some plain head bands and doodle beach things on there or glue shells
get a plain white or colored dress and tie-die it…regular plain sandals and put sea shells on them…etc

Whichare the best beaches similar to Myrlte beach for summer visit?

I personally like Florida beaches, lots of resorts and places to stay for less than Hawaii or California.
